Our History

The GAST Center was built in 1929.

Formerly the 2nd Church of Christian Scientists house of worship and meticulously restored by the German-American Society of Tulsa in 1992, this beautiful building serves today as one of Tulsa’s premier event centers—perfect for weddings, receptions, private parties and corporate events.

Located in the heart of Midtown Tulsa, adjacent to the Gillette Historical District, with easy access from the BA.

The German-American Society's mission is to promote and preserve the German language, culture, traditions and customs through education, social activities and events for the enrichment of our members and the community.
